The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
by Dr. Stephen R. Covey
Habit 1: Be Proactive. Accept responsibility for your life. Behaviour should be a product of your conscious choices, based on values, rather than outside conditions or feelings.

Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind. Have a vision, see the potential. Develop a personal mision statement or philosophy that focuses on what you want to be and what you want to contribute to the world.

Habit 3: Put First Things First. Spend less time on urgent and unimportant activities and more time on important, but nonurgent activities like preparation, prevention, and relationship building.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win. Develop an abundance mentality. There is plenty for everyone. One person's success is not achieved at the expense of another's.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood. Listen first, talk later.

Habit 6: Synergize. Develop teamwork while valuing differences among people.

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw. Keep balanced emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
